Hey everyone - good news!
So I finally quit my day job (I'm a Child Protection admin-y type person for a London borough - it is all kinds of depressing) - I'm going to be finishing my Masters in Neuroscience in September, and until then, I am going to be a fully-blown artist! (and neuroscientist, obviously)
It feels a bit weird taking the leap into being fully dependent on my art for income. I know it's going to be hard, and I am going to be quite poor. So many better artists keep other jobs going and wouldn't dream of going freelance like this, but I have no choice... I would hate to come out at the end of my Masters thinking that I didn't
